I first wanted to make nesting bowls like Fry usually does. Then I decided I wanted to make indivdual bowls. The idea for my glazing stayed the same throughout the project. I wanted to do a bright inside with a clear glaze on the outside.
About my Bowls
I tried to make my bowls the brightest colors possible without them being too distractng. My favorite colors are blues, greens, and yellows so I tried to stay with those colors as well.
Glazes:
- Sea Mist Green
- Light Green
- Harvest Yellow
- Dark Yellow
- Black/White Underglaze
- Clear
Janette Fry
From looking at some of the bowls Janette Fry has made I picked up that she likes to use bright colors. They're not colors one would typically see in someones litchen. I liked her use of bright and cheerful colors, it made the bowls look more fun.
